West Kelowna is laced with hiking — from gentle lakeside loops to a proper climb up an old volcano. A few favourites within a short drive:
Mount Boucherie
Trails wind up an extinct volcano to 360° views over the lake, the city and the vineyards below.
Rose Valley Regional Park
Forested loops and rocky bluffs with big reservoir and valley viewpoints — well-marked and family-friendly.

A shaded canyon trail along the creek to a waterfall — one of the prettiest easy walks in West Kelowna.

Absolutely — the deck and BBQ are yours, and they're the best spot for the view and the sunset.
How close are the hiking trails?
Several are within about a 10–15 minute drive (see the trail map above), and the hilltop setting means easy walking right from the door.
